Lisa Bunn Winery

In 2011, Lisa Bunn and Bastian Strebel dared to do something special in Nierstein: establish a winery from the ground up – with a clear vision. Their Rieslings grow on the Roter Hang (Red Slope), on deep red slate. The Pinot Noirs come from the limestone-rich vineyards of Wintersheim. In the cellar, they work naturally: spontaneous fermentation, extended maceration, aging in wooden barrels, and patient lees contact. Organic farming on 18 hectares – not just a concept, but a way of life. The result: wines that feel vibrant, complex, and full of character. Wines that have a story to tell.

Red slate, vibrant wines –
Lisa Bunn from Nierstein

Since 2011, Lisa Bunn and Bastian Strebel have been cultivating on 18 hectares around Nierstein what many only promise: organic farming in the vineyard, spontaneous fermentation in the cellar, and extended aging on the lees. Their Rieslings come from the Roter Hang – deep red slate that lends the wines tension and depth. The Pinot Noirs grow in the limestone-rich Wintersheim vineyard, producing wines that are both classic and narrative in style.
