Lisa Bunn Sauvignon Blanc dry
A Sauvignon Blanc that shows what Rheinhessen can do beyond Riesling: fresh, spicy, with a clear aromatic line.
Lisa Bunn Winery operates in Rheinhessen, one of Germany's largest wine regions, which in recent years has become increasingly known for its characterful white wines. The focus is on approachable, easy-drinking wines without excessive oak aging.
In the glass, the Sauvignon Blanc displays a vibrant bouquet of grapefruit and gooseberry, complemented by green bell pepper and a hint of elderflower—typical varietal aromas that come across refreshingly directly. On the palate, it is light and juicy, with a crisp acidity that enlivens the wine. The finish is short to medium-long, fresh, and clean. James Suckling awarded the 2023 vintage 90 points .
