Quinta da Lixa is the epitome of "The rediscovery of the passion for Vinho Verde". The family business of the Meireles family was founded in 1986. The vineyards around the town of Vila da Lixa were no longer sufficient for the demand in 1999, because the family had long since convinced the world of connoisseurs that Vinho Verde is "en vogue" again. Thus, the "Quinta da Lixa" was purchased and has since been the namesake of the company. Today, the grapes for the popular, traditional, refreshing Vinho Verde ripen on 105 ha and delight palates all over the world. Our Seixoso lives this "rediscovery of the passion for Vinho Verde": This can be experienced both in the nose and on the palate through seductive, exotic freshness.
