Quinta da Lixa is the epitome of "The Rediscovery of the Passion for Vinho Verde." The Meireles family founded the business in 1986. By 1999, the vineyards around Vila da Lixa were no longer sufficient to meet demand, as the family had long since convinced wine lovers that Vinho Verde was back in vogue. Thus, "Quinta da Lixa" was acquired and has lent its name to the company ever since. Today, grapes ripen on 35 hectares for the popular, traditional, and refreshing Vinho Verde wines, delighting palates worldwide. Our Seixoso embodies this "Rediscovery of the Passion for Vinho Verde": This can be experienced on both the nose and palate through its seductive, exotic freshness.
