Vinhos Sogrape – Portuguese winemaking since 1942. Founded by Fernando van Zeller Guedes, near Vila Nova de Gaia on the north coast. With 360 hectares of vineyards, it is the largest and highest-grossing winery in the country. Seven different vineyard sites: Vinho Verde, Douro, Dão, Bairrada, Alentejo, Madeira, and Jerez. Sandy and clay soils, heat-retaining slate. Continental, mild, or Mediterranean climate – depending on the region. In addition to classic wines, the focus is also on port wines. Grape varieties: Loureiro, Pederna, Touriga Nacional, and Aragonés. Portugal, as it tastes.

Fernando van Zeller Guedes founded Sogrape in 1942 near Vila Nova de Gaia – today the largest winery in Portugal. Its vineyards stretch from Vinho Verde through the Douro to Alentejo and Madeira. Touriga Nacional on slate soils, Loureiro on sandy soils: each region brings its own unique character to the glass.
