Mea culpa

Minini – Lombard roots, Apulian passion. The family has dedicated itself to winemaking since the 1920s. In Apulia-Salento, Mario Minini created Mea Culpa – the attempt to create the "perfect wine." The idea: to combine grapes from Sicily and Apulia. Approximately 35 percent undergo the appassimento method – 30 days of air drying, resulting in a one-third weight loss. The wine then matures for six to seven months in French oak. The result: elegant, modern, high-quality wines that hold their own on the international market. Today, they are popular worldwide. Apulia, as it tastes.

Apulian passion, in a glass since the 1920s

Mario Minini combines grapes from Apulia and Sicily – around 35 percent of which undergo appassion: 30 days of drying, a one-third weight loss, followed by six to seven months of aging in French oak. The result is dense, yet elegant wines with a warm, tropical fruit character.
