Maison Jean Loron

Maison Jean Loron is one of the most prestigious wineries in Beaujolais, rooted in the rolling hills between Mâcon and Lyon since 1821. What they produce is anything but ordinary: the vineyard in Fleurie , one of the ten Beaujolais Crus, gives the grapes the time and depth that you can taste in the glass – silky, fragrant, with an elegance that has rightfully made this Cru famous. Gamay as it should be: vibrant, fruity, and yet surprisingly complex. Those who think they know Beaujolais might just rediscover here what this southern part of Burgundy is truly capable of.

Château de Fleurie Beaujolais

Two centuries of Gamay from the heart of Beaujolais

Founded in 1821, Maison Jean Loron is located in Fleurie – one of the ten Beaujolais Crus between Mâcon and Lyon. The Gamay grapes from the hillside vineyards bring to the glass what defines this Cru: a silky texture, violet and berry fruit, and a vibrant structure without heaviness. Not a light, early wine, but a Beaujolais with genuine aging potential.
