Château de Durette is located in the heart of Beaujolais, a region that was long underestimated and is now one of the most exciting wine addresses in France. The winery works with Gamay and Chardonnay on soils that give the wine a clear origin – mineral, lively, with a fruitiness that never seems intrusive.
The range is divided into two lines: The Gamme Tradition stands for fresh, uncomplicated wines that fit into everyday life – a glass with dinner, opened spontaneously, without much thought. The Gamme Prestige goes deeper: longer aging, more structure, wines that deserve time in the glass. In addition, there are sparkling wines made from Chardonnay and Gamay that show that Beaujolais is also convincing with perlage.
