Since 1775, the Saby family has cultivated their vineyards in the heart of the Libournais region – now in its ninth generation, with 70 hectares spread across seven appellations: Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, Fronsac, Lalande-de-Pomerol, and other sites on the right bank. Nine châteaux bear their signature, including Château Rozier, Château Saint-André Corbin, and Château Hauchat.

The focus is on Merlot – the leading grape variety of the Libournais region, which reveals its velvety, fruit-forward side on the clay-rich soils around Saint-Émilion . The Château Saby Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, a single-varietal Merlot, brings ripe cherry, cassis, and a hint of cedar to the glass, supported by soft tannins and a long finish. Ideal with braised lamb, duck breast, or a mature Comté cheese.
