Fonjoya – Cooperative Saint Saturnin unites courageous winemakers in the heart of the Languedoc, where the Causse du Larzac meets the Mediterranean plain. Cool mountain breezes, southern warmth, and an exceptional diversity of terroir characterize the wines of this dedicated cooperative.
Whether it's the fruity lightness of the Jambe de Chien Rosé, the elegant freshness of the red Échine d'Âne , or the aromatic richness of the white Dent de Loup – every bottle here embodies the true Grenache character of the South of France. Uncomplicated enjoyment that surprises.

What our customers say
Currently my new favorite wine. Am actually a fan of light Italian wines. But this Frenchman beats even those.
Cooperative Saint Saturnin –
Fonjoya: Grenache character from the heart of the Languedoc
Where the Causse du Larzac meets the Mediterranean plain, the winemakers of the Cooperative Saint Saturnin work under the Fonjoya label on wines that do not deny their origin. Cool high-altitude winds from the north meet southern solar heat – an interplay that allows the grapes to ripen slowly and gives the wines a freshness that one does not always expect in the Languedoc.
Grenache is the focus, whether as a light, fruit-forward rosé in the Jambe de Chien, as an elegant red wine in the Échine d'Âne, or as an aromatically dense white wine in the Dent de Loup. The cooperative bundles the knowledge of many family businesses from the region and relies on a diversity of terroirs that is noticeably reflected in each of the three styles – from the texture to the finish.
The wines from Saint-Saturnin-de-Lucian are uncomplicated in the best sense: clear in their origin, direct in character, open for everyday life as well as for the set table. With grilled lamb, goat cheese from the south, or a summer evening on the terrace.
