About Château Martinet

Château Martinet –
elegance from the heart of Saint-Émilion

Château Martinet is located in the heart of Libourne – an 18th-century manor house surrounded by 17 hectares of vines on typical gravel soils. The Pradel de Lavaux group manages the estate with a care that shows in every step of the work: manual soil cultivation, precise pruning, hand-picking and strict sorting in the cellar.

The cuvée relies on 65 percent Merlot and 35 percent Cabernet Franc – a composition that corresponds to the style of Saint-Émilion: velvety structure, restrained power, a wine that prioritizes elegance over volume. Responsible for the winemaking are Gilles Pauquet and Stéphane Toutoundji.

Anyone who appreciates Bordeaux that does not work with extraction and wood, but with terroir and patience, will find one of the quiet Crus of the appellation area in Château Martinet.
