15 years of Vinoscout: Our summer party in 40-degree heat

Some celebrations are planned for a year — and in the end, the thermometer decides on a single day whether you go through with it. June 27th was one of those days: nearly 40 degrees above Kleinmachnow. We did it anyway. And looking back, it was one of the best decisions of this summer.

For our 15th anniversary, we opened our flagship store at Europarc Dreilinden and the entire outdoor area — for a party without a tightly scheduled program and without an agenda. Just a long summer day with cool glasses, good food, and music under the open sky. Over 400 guests came. Despite the heat. Or perhaps precisely because of it.

Over 400 guests, 10 bars, and not a hint of hustle

From 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., everything that defines summer in a glass came together at ten bars: well-chilled rosé and light white wines at the summer bar, Crémant and champagne, cocktails — and some special drops that you don't usually get into your glass so easily. Those who preferred it light found non-alcoholic alternatives. And those who wanted to take wine a bit more seriously that day went in search of their new favorite wine at our blind tasting.

In the center: BBQ and a selection of delicacies as a culinary anchor point. All around, conversations with us and our partners whenever someone felt like it — exactly as relaxed as we had imagined it.

Music that carried the day

The sound was provided by DJ Fabse with Mediterranean, light sounds that fit the heat perfectly. The special highlight, however, was the live performance by Kirk Smith: His voice carried across the entire grounds and provided the goosebump moments that many guests were still talking about at the exit. The fact that he brought such energy to the stage in these temperatures took the whole day to another level.

Why we are so glad we did it

At the end of the day, we were one thing above all: grateful. For so many good vibes, for the relaxed atmosphere despite the heat, and for feedback that really touched us. That is exactly why we do this — for a place where wine connoisseurs and the curious alike come together and spend a good day with each other.

And 2027? We are already looking forward to it — the next summer party is sure to come, and we would love to celebrate it with you again.
