15 years of Vinoscout: Our summer party in 40-degree heat

Long tables under strings of lights at the Vinoscout summer festival

Some parties are planned for a year — and in the end, the thermometer decides on a single day whether you go ahead with them. June 27th was such a day: almost 40 degrees Celsius in Kleinmachnow. We went ahead anyway. And looking back, it was one of the best decisions of this summer.

For our 15th anniversary, we opened our flagship store at Europarc Dreilinden and the entire outdoor area—for a celebration without a rigid program or agenda. Just a long summer day with cool drinks, good food, and music under the open sky. Over 400 guests came. Despite the heat. Or perhaps because of it.

Over 400 guests, 10 bars and not a hint of hustle and bustle

From noon to 7 p.m., ten bars offered everything that makes summer so special: well-chilled rosé and light white wines at the summer bar, Crémant and Champagne, cocktails—and some special wines that aren't usually readily available. Those who preferred something lighter could find non-alcoholic options. And those who wanted to take wine a bit more seriously that day could participate in our blind tasting and search for their new favorite.

In the center: BBQ and a selection of gourmet foods as the culinary focal point. Around it, conversations with us and our partners whenever someone felt like it—just as relaxed as we had envisioned.

Music that carried the day

DJ Fabse provided the soundtrack with light, Mediterranean tunes that perfectly complemented the heat. The real highlight, however, wasKirk Smith 's live performance: his voice carried throughout the entire venue, creating goosebump moments that many guests were still talking about as they left. The fact that he brought such energy to the stage in those temperatures elevated the whole day to another level.

The clip is also available on our Instagram . There you can share it directly, comment on it, and read what other guests took away from the day — we look forward to every comment.

Thanks to our team

The biggest round of applause goes to our team . Working all day in nearly 40-degree heat, serving drinks, explaining things – and keeping a good mood all the while: you made it possible. Without you, this day wouldn't have been the day it was. From the bottom of our hearts: thank you.

Thank you to our partners

And we also thank our partners who stood at the stand all day in this heat, pouring drinks, explaining, serving – and giving their all for the guests:

Why we're so glad we did it

At the end of the day, we were above all else: grateful. For so many good vibes, for the relaxed atmosphere despite the heat, and for feedback that truly touched us. This is exactly why we do this—to create a place where wine connoisseurs and curious newcomers alike can come together and enjoy a wonderful day.

And 2027? We're already looking forward to it — the next summer festival is sure to come, and we'd love to celebrate it with you again.
