Val de Vie Barista Chardonnay

Val de Vie Barista Chardonnay
A creamy Chardonnay from Paarl, combining South African sun power with Burgundian-inspired winemaking — not a heavy oak colossus, but a balanced white wine with a real drinkability.
Val de Vie is located in the Paarl-Franschhoek Valley, one of South Africa's most prestigious wine regions. The estate is known for its meticulously cultivated vineyards at the foot of the Simonsberg and for wines that combine the fruit intensity of the Cape with European style. The name "Barista" represents handcrafted wines with a distinct identity.
In the glass, the Chardonnay displays ripe yellow pear, white peach, and a hint of roasted hazelnut. The texture is creamy, with well-integrated oak and fresh acidity on the finish—not a heavyweight, but with noticeable body and length.
