To Kalon Vineyard Double Diamond Cabernet Sauvignon

To Kalon is no ordinary vineyard—it's arguably Napa Valley's most famous single vineyard, located in Oakville on deep, well-drained gravel and clay soils. Schrader Cellars' Double Diamond Cabernet Sauvignon brings a more approachable, earlier-drinking style from this site, without sacrificing depth.

Schrader Cellars was founded by Fred Schrader and specializes in To-Kalon parcels. The Double Diamond is the entry point to the range — vinified with the same approach as the large single-parcel bottles, but designed for drinking pleasure even at a young age.

In the glass, it displays a deep ruby ​​red color. The nose offers ripe black cherry and blackberry, underpinned by cedar, nutmeg, and a delicate herbal note. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, with velvety tannins from aging in French oak, lively acidity, and a long, spicy finish.
