Terrazas de los Andes Chardonnay

An Argentinian Chardonnay from the highlands of the Andes – with the freshness of the altitude and the richness of oak aging.

Bodegas Terrazas de los Andes cultivates its grapes in the Uco Valley, one of Argentina's highest-altitude wine regions. The vines grow at altitudes of up to 1,200 meters – the significant temperature variations between day and night result in slow ripening, vibrant acidity, and pronounced aromatics.

After nine months of aging in oak barrels, the wine displays aromas of ripe pear and citrus peel, along with candied orange and a hint of tropical fruit – papaya, banana. The oak provides structure without overpowering the fruit. Creamy on the palate with a fresh acidity on the finish.

Serving temperature 10–12 °C. Pairs well with grilled salmon with lemon butter, roast chicken, or a mild goat cheese. Also an uncomplicated aperitif.

Bodegas Terrazas

Terrazas de los Andes – wine from the high altitudes of the Argentinian Andes. At elevations between 900 and over 1,400 meters, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes thrive under intense sunshine, cooled by cold mountain winds. The idea: the higher the vineyard, the cooler the climate – the more vibrant the wine. Fresh fruit, fine structure, true depth. What makes Terrazas special? The respect for the altitude. Each vineyard brings its own unique character. The result: wines that showcase Argentina – powerful, warming, surprisingly fresh.
