Terrazas de los Andes Cabernet Sauvignon

A Cabernet Sauvignon from the high altitudes of Mendoza — structured, spicy, with the typical weight of the Andean terroirs.

Bodegas Terrazas grows its grapes in the Luján de Cuyo and Uco valleys, both located in Mendoza. The large altitude differences — over 1,000 meters — ensure long, cool nights, intense UV radiation, and thus thick-skinned grapes with deep color and pronounced tannin structure.

In the glass, it shows dark ruby red. On the nose, blackberry and black cherry, plus notes of pepper, tobacco, and dried herbs. After 12–14 months of aging in French barriques and another six months of bottle aging, vanilla and a hint of cedar are added. The tannins are present but integrated — medium-long, spicy finish.
