Teliani Valley Khivkvi white dry

A dry white wine from Georgia that impresses with juicy fruitiness and a fresh citrus note – uncomplicated, but with a distinct character.

Teliani Valley is one of Georgia's most renowned wineries, located in the Alazani Valley in the Kakheti region – the heart of Georgian winemaking. The valley benefits from a continental climate with long, warm summers and cool nights, which preserve the freshness and acidity of the grapes. Teliani Valley focuses on combining Georgian grape varieties with modern cellar technology, making these native wines accessible to a wider audience.

In the glass, the Khivkvi displays a straw yellow color with greenish highlights. The nose offers aromas of apricot, white peach, and melon, complemented by a delicate citrus note that adds freshness to the bouquet. On the palate, it is juicy with medium acidity and a clean, fruity finish.

Best served at 8–10 °C . Pairs well with grilled chicken, salads with feta, light pasta dishes, or as an uncomplicated summer evening wine on the terrace.

Teliani Valley

Teliani Valley – wine with history. In the 19th century, the brother of the Russian Tsar, Mikhail Romanov, had a large wine cellar built. In the 1880s, winemaker Antoin Mossano came to Georgia from Bordeaux – and stayed for nine years. He was the first to process Georgian grape varieties using European techniques.

He sent his “Teliani” wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon to the Tsar – and became famous.

Today, Teliani Valley manages these traditional sites. Old Georgian grape varieties, processed in both traditional and modern ways. Georgian wine culture – at the highest level.
