Teliani Valley Kakhuri No. 8 white

Teliani Valley Kakhuri No. 8 white
A white wine with an amber hue—a sign of skin contact and Georgian winemaking tradition. Teliani Valley is among the most renowned wineries in Kakheti, Georgia's most important wine region in the east of the country. The region has been producing wines of distinctive depth for millennia.
The Kakhuri line employs traditional Georgian methods: skin contact with the grape skins not only gives the wine its warm amber color, but also tannins that are unusual for a white wine—soft on the palate, yet noticeable on the finish. On the nose: herbs, dried apricot, and a hint of beeswax. On the palate, it is dry, with gentle tannins and a long, slightly spicy finish.
- Serving temperature: 12–14 °C
- Goes well with: chicken with herb sauce, grilled sea bass, salad with feta or a hearty hummus
- Occasion: Ideal for anyone who knows classic white wines and is looking for a different perspective
