Ruggeri Argeo Prosecco DOC Treviso Brut
Ruggeri's Argeo comes from the province of Treviso – the heartland of Prosecco DOC, nestled between the foothills of the Alps and the Adriatic Sea. Ruggeri is one of the region's established producers and stands for cleanly vinified, characterful Prosecco.
In the glass, it displays a pale straw yellow color with fine, persistent bubbles. The bouquet is fresh and floral, with clear aromas of green apple and white peach. On the palate, it is light and delicate, with lively acidity and a fruity, clean, and dry finish.
As a Brut with low residual sugar, it is suitable as an aperitif, with light appetizers, or with seafood. It also pairs well with summer dishes at lunchtime – such as zucchini blossoms or carpaccio. Serving temperature: 6–8 °C.

When discussing the history of Prosecco in Valdobbiadene, the name Ruggeri is indispensable. The Ruggeri winery was among the first in the region to produce sparkling wine in pressurized tanks, and it was also a key training ground for many talented oenologists, thus spreading their high standards of quality far and wide. The winery itself was only founded in 1950 by Giustino Bisol. However, the family's winemaking tradition stretches back centuries.
