Cartizze Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut

Cartizze Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut
Ruggeri's Cartizze comes from the smallest and most prestigious vineyard in Valdobbiadene: the Cartizze hill, just 107 hectares in size, with sandy-gravelly soils that give the Glera grapes an unusual ripeness and aromatic density.
Straw yellow in the glass with greenish highlights and a fine, persistent perlage. The nose offers aromas of ripe summer pear, white blossoms, and a hint of herbs. On the palate, it is well-balanced with lively minerality, a creamy texture, and a citrusy finish. The Brut dosage deliberately restrains the residual sugar—drier and more structured than many Cartizze bottlings.
Well chilled at 6–8 °C as an aperitif, with light appetizers, seafood risotto or mild goat cheese.
