Rose Cuvée Proppe

Rose Cuvée Proppe
A rosé from the Gleistal valley near Jena — one of the few vineyards in Thuringia whose limestone and shell limestone soils impart genuine minerality to the bottle. The Cuvée Proppe demonstrates what Central German viticulture can achieve when grape varieties are cleverly combined.
The Vinoscout winery vinifies this rosé for freshness: short maceration, cool fermentation, and early bottling. The result is a lively, dry rosé with a clear fruit profile—strawberry, raspberry, and a hint of citrus on the finish. The acidity supports the wine without being harsh; the mouthfeel remains light and invigorating.
- Flavors: Strawberry, Raspberry, Citrus Peel
- Mouthfeel: light, fresh acidity, short finish
- Serving temperature: 8–10 °C
- Drinking window: now until 2026
It goes well with grilled vegetables, goat cheese salad, light pasta dishes with tomatoes, or simply as a summer evening wine on the terrace.
