Riesling Grand Cru Bernard Massard

Riesling Grand Cru Bernard Massard
A Riesling from Luxembourg's best vineyards – structured, mineral, with the typical freshness of the Moselle region.
Domaine Bernard Massard is one of Luxembourg's most renowned wineries, founded in 1921 in Grevenmacher on the Moselle River. The estate is known for its meticulously crafted wines made from local terroirs – including this Riesling, grown on slate soils in Luxembourg's Moselle Valley. Slate retains heat during the day and releases it at night, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly and contributing to the wine's characteristic acidity.
In the glass, it displays a bright golden yellow. The nose offers lemon zest, white peach, and a subtle flint accent – the typical mineral characteristic of Riesling vineyards with slate soils. On the palate, it presents lively yet ripe acidity, medium body, and a lingering finish with a slight salinity.
Serving temperature: 8–10 °C. Pairs well with grilled perch, quiche Lorraine, or a mild goat cheese. Also a reliable choice to accompany Asian dishes with ginger and lemongrass. Ready to drink now.
