Pinot Blanc Grand Cru Bernard Massard

A Pinot Blanc with substance: fresh fruit, fine minerality and a long finish — from one of Luxembourg's oldest wineries.

Bernard Massard was founded in 1921 in Grevenmacher on the Moselle River and is one of the most renowned wine producers in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The winery works with vineyards along the Luxembourg Moselle, where Keuper and Muschelkalk soils give the Pinot Blanc its characteristic freshness and mineral tension.

In the glass, the Grand Cru displays a pale straw yellow color. The nose offers aromas of ripe apple, white pear, and a hint of citrus blossom. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with lively acidity and a subtle mineral note in the background. The finish is long and clean.

Domaine Bernard Massard

Bernard-Massard – Luxembourg's art of wine and sparkling wine. The vineyards stretch for 42 kilometers along the slopes of the Moselle, with calcareous soils in the north and loamy soils in the south. A terroir that produces elegant sparkling wines and fruity still wines. In Grevenmacher, in the heart of the northern vineyards, lies the historic winery building with its renowned barrel cellar. Over decades, Bernard-Massard has become Luxembourg's most important family-run sparkling wine producer. Together with its partner estates Clos des Rochers and Château de Schengen, it is among the region's finest white wine producers.
