Réserve du Cochonnet Rosé

After a whole series of tastings, we met Vignerons de la Vicomté not far from Montpellier. When we sat down together, it quickly became clear that we had found our partner. Cellar master Jean Meilhac was completely on the same wavelength as us. And, more importantly, he had a range of varietal wines in his cellar that matched our vision with astonishing precision. "In the South of France, we love life. We enjoy daydreaming, spending the day with good people, and taking pleasure in what the land gives us," Jean enthused about his homeland, explaining that he considers the wines bearing the little piglet (those who play boules know that this is also the name of the wooden target ball) on their labels to be the quintessential taste of this way of life. We really like drinking it and will buy/order it again

Light, very tasty rosé - goes well with all dishes, as it does not dominate but supports, plus an excellent price/performance ratio combined with a very prompt delivery

Vignerons de la Vicomté

Vignerons de la Vicomté – this is not a single winery, but an entire community: four cooperatives from the Hérault have joined forces in the heart of the Languedoc. Over 1,200 winegrowers share knowledge, responsibility and a clear conviction here – that good wine comes from healthy soil and genuine cohesion.

They have been working sustainably since the 70s, without sacrificing innovation. The result? Wines that do not hide their origin – lively, characterful and always with a touch of southern French joie de vivre in the glass.
