Réserve du Cochonnet Vin de Pays d'Oc

We were reminded at this year's Vinexpo that the people behind the charming Cochonnet wines are equally delightful. There we met Serge Dubois, one of the winemakers responsible for the Cochonnet wines. He proudly presented us with a sample of what he claimed was his best wine, and after just a few sips, we realized he hadn't exaggerated. The powerful yet elegant blend of old Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Grenache vines tasted absolutely superb, and when he mentioned the price, we were simply astonished. We didn't hesitate and immediately set about creating a Réserve du Cochonnet so that our customers wouldn't have to miss out on Serge's masterpiece. A rich, deep purple-red color. On the nose, the Réserve du Cochonnet reveals plum, cherry, and smoky tobacco notes. On the palate, delicate coffee notes and dark chocolate unfold. A pleasant, velvety finish.

If the wine of a specific vintage is no longer available, it should not be offered.

Unfortunately, we did not receive the vintage of the 'Reserve de Cochonnet' that we ordered. We ordered the 2020 vintage, but received the 2021 vintage. In terms of quality, it is not as full-bodie...

Vignerons de la Vicomté

Vignerons de la Vicomté – this is not a single winery, but an entire community: four cooperatives from the Hérault have joined forces in the heart of the Languedoc. Over 1,200 winegrowers share knowledge, responsibility and a clear conviction here – that good wine comes from healthy soil and genuine cohesion.

They have been working sustainably since the 70s, without sacrificing innovation. The result? Wines that do not hide their origin – lively, characterful and always with a touch of southern French joie de vivre in the glass.
