PriSecco Spring Scent

PriSecco Frühlingsduft from the Jörg Geiger manufactory is not a wine in the classic sense – but a handcrafted fruit foam drink based on apple, rhubarb, woodruff and elderflower.

Jörg Geiger from Schlat in the Swabian Alps has been synonymous with a unique category for years: the PriSecco line combines heritage fruit varieties and regional wild plants to create low-alcohol alternatives with genuine character. No added flavorings, no concentrate – instead, careful maceration and cold processing.

The wine shines in the glass with a delicate rosé hue, a hint of spring. The nose reveals aromas of wild strawberry, fresh rhubarb, and the characteristic coumarin scent of woodruff. On the palate, the rhubarb contributes a lively, slightly tart acidity that balances the sweetness of the apple. The finish is floral, with a touch of elderflower.

Small precipitates in the drink are not a defect – they occur when the oxalic acid in the rhubarb reacts with the natural calcium in the apple. This is a sign of unfiltered processing.
