Pouilly Fumé Guy Saget

After pressing, a 24-hour sedimentation period followed to clarify the must. Temperature-controlled fermentation in steel tanks at max. 20°C lasts 15 days. The young wine then matures for another 5 months on the fine lees.

The grapes for this Pouilly Fumé grow on the right bank of the Loire. This white wine, traditionally vinified from Sauvignon Blanc, was fermented under temperature control and subsequently matured for 5 months on the lees.

A stimulating white wine with a straw-yellow color and greenish reflections and refreshing aromas of black currants and white peach.

The Domaine

Guy Saget

Guy Saget – Loire wine with soul. Rooted in Pouilly-sur-Loire for nine generations, the Saget La Perrière winery now unites five estates along the river. Each with its own soil, its own character.

The result: fresh Sauvignon Blancs that smell of citrus and herbs. Elegant Pinot Noirs, light and expressive. Wines that simply work – whether as an aperitif or at the dinner table.

Carefully cultivated, without any gimmicks. Just what the Loire has been capable of for centuries: liveliness in the glass.
