Pazo das Bruxas Albariño

Albariño from Rías Baixas, the home region of this grape variety, located directly on the Galician Atlantic coast. The Pazo das Bruxas — "Witches' Farm" — alludes to the old Galician Bruxas legends, but above all, it is a typical example of the style for which Rías Baixas is known.

In the glass, it displays aromas of green apple, citrus peel, and white blossoms with a delicate mineral and salty note in the background—a result of the Atlantic climate and the region's granitic soils. The acidity is lively without being sharp, the body is light, and the finish is salty and dry.

Serving temperature: 8–10 °C. Best enjoyed young, within the next two to three years. Classic accompaniments: Pulpo a la gallega, grilled prawns, clams, or a simple grilled sea bass with lemon.
