Fool's cap, Riesling winery In den zehn Morgen

A dry Nahe Riesling with a clear structure – fresh, accessible, and yet more than a simple entry-level wine.

Weingut In den Zehn Morgen is located in the heart of the Nahe, a region known for its mineral-driven Rieslings. The winery's name refers to a historical unit of area – a hint of the deeply rooted connection to the site and the soil. The Nahe is considered one of the most versatile German wine regions: volcanic rock, slate, and sandstone noticeably shape the character of the wines depending on the site.

In the glass, the 2022 Narrenkappe Riesling shows aromas of lemon zest, white peach, and a hint of grapefruit. Added to this are floral notes – elderflower, light – and a fine mineral line on the finish. The acidity is lively but not sharp, the body lean and stimulating. Not a heavy wine, but one that invites you to drink.
