In den Zehn Morgen Rosenheck Riesling Kabinett winery
A classic Mosel Kabinett from the single vineyard Rosenheck – delicate, cool and with the typical lightness that makes this style so distinctive.
The In den Zehn Morgen winery cultivates Riesling vineyards on the Moselle, where slate soils and the cooler microclimate of the steep slopes ensure pronounced fruit aromas with low alcohol content. Kabinett represents the lightest quality level in German wine law – harvested from fully ripe, but not overripe, grapes, with natural residual sugar that balances the acidity rather than masking it.
In the glass, the Rosenheck reveals aromas of Granny Smith apple and ripe lemon, along with white blossoms and a cool herbal note. The acidity is lively but not sharp, giving the wine tension and length. The finish is mineral, slightly salty, and classically Mosel.
- Food: Fried trout, sushi, Asian dishes with ginger and coriander, or mildly matured goat cheese
- Temperature: 8–10 °C
- Occasion: Summer evening, light lunch, aperitif
- Drinking window: Now until 2028
The In den Zehn Morgen winery represents Nahe wines with historical luster and natural charm from Bad Kreuznach. Since 2013, the estate has been building on legendary top vineyard sites – Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir thrive here on sandstone, loess and gravel, full of terroir and vibrancy.
In the glass , fresh citrus notes , juicy fruit, and elegant minerality with a fine structure are captivating. Typical of vineyard sites like Krötenpfuhl or Schlossberg: balanced, spicy, and sustainably cultivated – certified organic and crafted with meticulous precision.
Here you'll find wines that revive tradition. Perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy German elegance with depth and regional soul.
