The Meerspinne Riesling GG stands for what the Palatinate can do at the highest level: dry Riesling with depth, tension, and clear origin. Behind the name is one of Gimmeldingen's oldest sites — historically known as Mandelgarten, managed under the rediscovered name Meerspinne since 2015.

Weingut A. Christmann is one of the defining addresses in the Palatinate. The operation is biodynamic, a VDP member, and brings its highest quality standard into the bottle with the Großes Gewächs. The Meerspinne site provides the foundation for a Riesling that combines the warm Palatinate sun with mineral tautness.

In the glass, ripe citrus fruit appears — lime, grapefruit — alongside white peach and a fine hint of herbs. The acidity is precise, the body dense, the finish long and salty. A wine that gives pleasure now, but still has years ahead of it.

Best served at 10–12 °C. Pairs with grilled sea bass with fennel, lobster, scallops, or a mature mountain cheese.
