Krämer Straight Riesling dry

The Straight Riesling from the Krämer winery lives up to its name: no frills, no compromises — pure, dry Riesling with character.

The grapes grow on the Wißberg on limestone-rich loam. These soils give the wine its cool-mineral imprint, which clearly distinguishes it from softer, fruit-driven Riesling fare. The Krämer winery from Rheinhessen stands for artisanally clean winemaking without unnecessary effort — the name "Straight" says it all.

In the glass, aromas of white peach and citrus peel appear, underpinned by a salty-mineral note. The body is full-bodied for a QbA, the acidity present but well-integrated. The finish is dry and clear.
