Krämer Straight Riesling dry
The Straight Riesling from the Krämer winery lives up to its name: no frills, no compromises — pure, dry Riesling with character.
The grapes grow on the Wißberg vineyard in calcareous loam. These soils give the wine its cool, mineral character, which clearly distinguishes it from soft, fruit-forward Rieslings. The Krämer winery from Rheinhessen stands for meticulous, handcrafted winemaking without unnecessary fuss—the name "Straight" says it all.
In the glass, aromas of white peach and citrus peel emerge, underpinned by a salty-mineral note. The body is full for a QbA, the acidity present but well integrated. The finish is dry and clean.
- Temperature: 10–12 °C
- Food pairings: Fried pike-perch, asparagus with hollandaise sauce, goat cheese or a simple chicken with lemon

On the Wißberg in Rheinhessen, where calcareous soils meet a continental climate, the Krämer winery operates with a clear conviction: wine is made in the vineyard. The grapes grow on one of Rheinhessen's most distinctive sites – a limestone plateau that imparts a unique minerality and freshness to the wines. What ends up in the bottle here tastes of its origin – honest, precise, and with genuine character.
