Krämer Pudelwohl Rosé

Tobias Krämer's Pudelwohl Rosé is an uncomplicated everyday rosé from the Palatinate – fresh, fruity and directly approachable, without seeming arbitrary.

Tobias Krämer is known in the Palatinate for his straightforward, unpretentious wines. The Pudelwohl is deliberately designed as a wine for the moment: no long barrel aging, no claim to aging potential – instead, primary fruit takes center stage and a drinkability that lives up to its name.

In the glass, it displays a vibrant raspberry-pink color, hinting at the aromatic profile to come. On the nose, it opens with pronounced strawberry and raspberry, accompanied by redcurrant and a touch of ripe cherry. The aromas are clean and precise, without being overpowering. On the palate, it is juicy and lively – the acidity provides structure without being harsh, while a slight residual sweetness rounds it all off, creating the typical sweet-acid balance that characterizes rosés from warmer regions. The finish is short to medium-long, fresh, and pleasantly fruity.

Recommendation: Serve well chilled at 8–10 °C. Pairs well with salads with fresh goat cheese, pasta with tomato sauce, grilled vegetables, or quiche – or simply on its own on the patio when no special meal is needed. Drink now, don't store.

Weingut Krämer

On the Wißberg in Rheinhessen, where calcareous soils meet a continental climate, the Krämer winery operates with a clear conviction: wine is made in the vineyard. The grapes grow on one of Rheinhessen's most distinctive sites – a limestone plateau that imparts a unique minerality and freshness to the wines. What ends up in the bottle here tastes of its origin – honest, precise, and with genuine character.
