Kerner quality wine dry

Kerner is considered an underrated grape variety — yet it combines the aromatics of Riesling with the robustness of Trollinger. This quality wine demonstrates what the variety is capable of when vinified dry.

On the nose, it opens with ripe peach, a hint of pineapple, and light blossoms, underpinned by a subtle herbal spice reminiscent of thyme and fresh mint. On the palate, it displays more structure than expected: a firm body, a mineral core of stone fruit, and a slightly bitter herbal note on the finish. Not a heavyweight, but not a light summer wine either—rather straightforward, juicy, with real backbone.

The finish remains dry and complex, with a mineral and spicy line that makes it more interesting than many aromatic white wines of its class.
