Kar Magna Côtes du Roussillon Villages Rouge AOP

Selected parcels are hand-harvested and transported to the cellar in small containers to minimize oxidation before maceration. After aging in barrels, Kar Magna is bottled in the spring to preserve its aromatic typicity. A deep garnet color reveals violet reflections. The nose offers aromatic complexity with notes of blackberries, blackcurrants, violets, and even licorice; a hint of minerality adds further detail. On the palate, refreshingly elegant fruit pairs with velvety tannins, showcasing the typical characteristics of the Caramany terroir. The long finish leads to notes of black fruit and sweet spices. It can easily be cellared for 4 to 5 years before demonstrating its aging potential.
