Invincible Number Two White
A Douro white wine that shows what the region can do beyond its port wine tradition: mineral, structured, with real depth.
Behind Invincible lies an unusual partnership: Rita Marques, one of Portugal's most sought-after winemakers, and Marc Kent, known for his work in South Africa. Together they work with old vines in the Douro Valley – a region where the slate and granite soils impart a pronounced minerality to the white wine, rarely found elsewhere in Portugal.
In the glass, the Number Two White displays aromas of citrus peel and white peach, underpinned by a delicate herbal spiciness. The acidity is present but integrated – not sharp, but a long-lasting freshness that carries the finish. Mineral salt notes linger in the aftertaste.
