Invincible Number Two Red

Invincible Number Two Red is a dry red wine from the Douro that combines dark fruit with firm but elegant tannins. A wine with structure that is present on the palate and ends with a long finish.

Behind the label is the Companhia de Vinhos Invencível, driven by the vision of Rita Marques and Marc Kent. The two are reinterpreting the Douro with an international perspective; the wines are inspired by Portugal's "Age of Discovery." Tinta Amarela is listed as the grape variety, a classic vine of the region.

In the glass, dark fruit, fine wood notes, and a hint of minerality meet. The tannin grips firmly but remains polished, leaving room for the wine's complexity. Serve it at 16 to 18 °C. It pairs well with braised lamb, beef cheek in red wine sauce, or aged sheep's cheese.
