Ihringer Winklerberg Grauer Burgunder trocken QW Baden 0.75L

The Pinot Gris from Winklerberg is one of the most remarkable white wines of Baden — grown on one of the warmest vineyards in Germany, the Ihringer Winklerberg on the Kaiserstuhl, where volcanic weathered soil and an exceptionally mild microclimate ensure exceptional ripeness.

The Freiherr von Gleichenstein winery in Bötzingen is one of the most traditional estates in the Kaiserstuhl region. The family has cultivated their vineyards for generations and focuses on traditional winemaking methods that capture the character of the volcanic soil in the bottle.

In the glass, the wine shines a rich golden yellow. The nose reveals ripe melon and apple, along with a subtle woody spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied with well-integrated acidity, a creamy texture, and a lingering, slightly mineral finish—typical of the Kaiserstuhl's volcanic soils.

Best served at 12–14 °C . Pairs perfectly with veal medallions in cream sauce, pan-fried pike-perch, or a mature Munster from Alsace.
