I Gelsi Rose Calabria

The I Gelsi Rosé Calabria is made from the Galioppo grape variety – the preferred grape of the Statti brothers, who are responsible for this rosé. This rosé is therefore particularly fruity and fresh, perfect for balmy summer evenings. Its red color accentuates the fruity bouquet with its aromas of strawberries, raspberries, passion fruit, pomegranate, and spices. On the palate, it offers a refreshing taste experience, further enhanced by its gentle pressing and aging in stainless steel tanks.

Calabria – "Enotria Tellus", land of wine. Wine has been cultivated here for millennia; over two millennia ago, the Greeks brought indigenous grape varieties with them. The brothers Antonio and Alberto Statti have dedicated themselves to the revival of this tradition.

Their goal: to interpret Calabria in a modern way, to make the importance of the old grape varieties internationally visible. A challenge, because Calabrian wines are almost unknown today.

The Stattis want to give them back the good reputation they had in antiquity. A mission with taste.
