Hussonet Cabernet Sauvignon Gran Reserva

A structured red wine from the heart of Chile that captures the strengths of the Maipo Valley: dark fruit, spicy depth and a long, dry finish.

Haras de Pirque is located in the Maipo Valley south of Santiago — one of South America's classic Cabernet Sauvignon regions, characterized by Andean influence, significant daily temperature variations, and well-drained gravel soils. The winery is known for its meticulously cultivated vineyards and, in addition to Cabernet Sauvignon, also grows Carménère, Chile's indigenous grape variety.

In the glass, the Hussonet Gran Reserva displays a deep ruby ​​red color. The nose offers aromas of blackberry and blackcurrant, underpinned by notes of cedar, toffee, and dried herbs. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, with ripe, well-integrated tannins, fresh acidity, and a spicy, lingering finish with a hint of dark chocolate.

Serving suggestion: 16–18 °C. Pairs well with grilled beef steak, leg of lamb with rosemary, or a strong hard cheese like Manchego. Drinking window: now until 2028.
