Hennessy VS Gift Box

Hennessy VS is the world's best-selling cognac — an entry into the Charente region that has earned its reputation through consistency, not by chance.

Hennessy has been distilling in Cognac since 1765 and is now run by the eighth generation of the founding family. For the VS (Very Special), brandies from the four classic appellations of the region are combined: Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, and Fins Bois. The youngest spirit in the blend matures for at least two years in Limousin oak barrels.

In the glass, it displays a warm amber color. The nose offers raisins and prunes, followed by apple and pear peel, and a distinct vanilla note from barrel aging. On the palate, it is round and smooth, with well-integrated oak notes and a medium finish with a slightly sweet aftertaste.

Serving suggestion: Classically, it serves as the base for a Sidecar or a French 75 with Champagne. Enjoy it neat at room temperature to best appreciate the fruity aromas. If drinking it on the rocks, use large ice to prevent it from becoming diluted too quickly.
