Hedges Family Estate Red Mountain Blend

Powerful, structured, and with an aroma profile that makes no compromises: The Red Mountain Blend from Hedges Family Estate shows why Red Mountain counts among the most exciting red wine appellations in the USA.

The Hedges family is among the pioneers on Red Mountain in the state of Washington – one of the warmest and driest AVAs of the Columbia Valley. Volcanic soils, extreme daily temperature fluctuations, and low yields ensure grapes with unusual concentration and structure.

In the glass, the blend shows dark blackberry and cassis, underlaid by dark chocolate, coffee bean, and a hint of leather. Plus clove and roasted hazelnut as a spicy deep layer. On the palate, round and full, with ripe tannin structure and a long-lasting, slightly spicy finish with a cocoa note.

Hedges Family Estate

Hedges Family Estate is located on Red Mountain in Washington State – one of North America's most exciting vineyards. Here, a family truly listens to the soil. Biodynamic and organic certified by Demeter and CCOF: This isn't a marketing promise, but a lived reality. The Hedges tend their vines as if they were part of a larger cycle – because they are. The result? Wines that don't hide their origin, but proudly display it. Red Mountain is known for its rich soils and warm days with cool nights. You can feel this tension in the glass: powerful fruit, vibrant freshness, a long finish. No compromises, no mass production.
