Pinot Gris QbA dry "Hand in Hand"

A Pinot Gris that doesn't need to be loud to impress: cool aromatics, subtle tension, clear character.

The Hand in Hand winery stands for handcrafted wines from German vineyards – affordable but without compromising on expression. This dry Pinot Gris QbA demonstrates what the grape variety can achieve when cultivated for freshness rather than richness.

On the nose, dried apple peel, a hint of hay and fresh herbal spice, with light blossoms in the background. On the palate, it is delicately juicy and elegant, with a lively acidity that keeps the wine vibrant. The finish brings a subtle salty minerality and a long aftertaste of fresh apple peel – complex for a wine of this category.

Best served at 8–10 °C . Pairs well with asparagus with hollandaise sauce, pan-fried pike-perch, goat cheese, or a simple dinner with good bread and cold cuts. Also a good choice as an uncomplicated aperitif.

Meyer Näkel & Klumpp

Meyer Näkel – that's Ahr, slate, and Pinot Noir in its purest form. What Werner Näkel once built, his daughters continue today with just as much passion and precision: a family winery that sets standards on the northern edge of German winegrowing.

The Ahr is small but mighty – Germany's most important contiguous red wine region. Here, on weathered slate soil, grows a Pinot Noir that brings depth, elegance, and an unmistakable character. Wines that leave a lasting impression.
