Pinot Gris dry III Tradition

Pinot Gris from the Palatinate has a clear character: full body, ripe fruit, yet dry and structured. The "Tradition" from Bergdolt-Reif & Nett shows what this grape variety can achieve on Palatinate soil.

The Bergdolt-Reif & Nett winery is one of the reliable names in the Palatinate, with vineyards around Duttweiler and Ruppertsberg. The soils alternate between limestone, sandstone, and loam — a diversity that gives the Pinot Gris both melt and substance. The "Tradition" line is based on an artisanal approach: controlled fermentation, aging on the fine lees for more texture.

In the glass, it shows ripe pear, white peach, and a hint of toasted almond. The palate is broad and round, with pleasant freshness that keeps the body in balance. The finish is long, slightly spicy, with a mineral note in the aftertaste.

On the table, it pairs well with sliced veal in cream sauce, pan-fried zander, or a creamy risotto with mushrooms. Serving temperature: 10–12 °C.
