Golfing Pinot Blanc

The Golfing Pinot Blanc from the Bergdolt-Reif & Nett winery is an uncomplicated Pinot Blanc from the Palatinate — fresh, easy-drinking, and made for the moment, not for the shelf.

Bergdolt-Reif & Nett is one of the reliable names in the Palatinate. The winery cultivates vineyards around Duttweiler and Kirrweiler, where sandy soils and the warm climate between the Haardt mountains and the Rhine plain give the Pinot Blanc a ripe, supple fruit. The Golfing is the estate's accessible line — vinified for freshness, without the ambition of extensive barrel aging.

In the glass, it shows a pale straw yellow. The nose brings pear, white peach, and a hint of almond. On the palate, it is lean and juicy, with lively acidity and a short, clean finish. Not a wine that demands attention — but one that works reliably.

Best served at 8–10 °C. Pairs with tarte flambée, grilled vegetables, light poultry, or a summery salad with goat cheese. Also a good choice as an uncomplicated aperitif.
