Nuits Saint Georges 1er Cru Aux Perdrix Cuvée Les 8 Ouvrées
Colour: dense, dark cherry-ruby red with purple highlights\r\nAmusement: expressive bouquet, intense, complex and powerful with aromatically sweet ripe dark fruit alongside fine spice, slightly earthy and noticeable mineral notes, very elegantly underpinned with delicate oak notes\r\nTaste: on the palate dense and powerful with clearly present, firm, yet highly elegant and gently ripened tannins, which give the wine fullness, structure and remarkable depth, plenty of juicy dark fruit also on the palate, finely spicy, chocolatey and deep with a long finish, already pleasantly approachable and at the same time endowed with plenty of potential

Domaine des Perdrix, located in Premeaux-Prissey near Nuits-Saint-Georges in the heart of Burgundy, is a renowned winery known for its exceptional Pinot Noir wines. Owned by the Devillard family since 1996, the estate also boasts other prestigious properties such as Château de Chamirey and Domaine de la Ferté. Domaine des Perdrix comprises 12 hectares of prime vineyards. The most celebrated is the almost entirely estate-owned Premier Cru "Aux Perdrix," distinguished by its complex and profound aromas. Domaine des Perdrix wines are an expression of the region's unique terroir. From meticulous hand-harvesting and gentle destemming to extended aging in oak barrels, every step is executed with the utmost precision to produce wines of outstanding quality. The wines typically mature for 18 months in oak barrels, with the proportion of new oak varying depending on the wine: 30% for village wines, 60% for Premier Crus and up to 90% for Grand Crus.
