Domaine Chiroulet Java Rosé

A rosé from the heart of Gascony — for those who appreciate lightness without sacrificing character. Domaine Chiroulet's Java Rosé is aimed at wine lovers seeking uncomplicated elegance and a true taste of terroir in every glass.

The blend of 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Franc is directly pressed and fermented at low temperatures—a process that ensures freshness and fruit clarity. Three to four months of aging on the fine lees give the wine its typical roundness and pleasant texture. The Peyrusquet terroir, with its limestone and clay-rich soil, imparts a mineral depth to the wine.

In the glass, it displays delicate floral and berry aromas; on the palate, it is juicy and playful with lively acidity. Ideal with summer cuisine, light pasta dishes, or simply as an aperitif on a long evening.

Domaine Chiroulet

Domaine Chiroulet – an independent family winery for over 150 years. 65 hectares of vineyards at the highest altitude in Gascony, approximately 180 meters above sea level. The name comes from the wind – "Chiroula" in the local dialect. It blows continuously, and together with the southern exposure, the vines produce healthy grapes and the highest quality. Philippe Fézas, a sixth-generation winemaker, is considered a "wine artist" of Gascony. In 2015, Chiroulet was awarded the title of best winery in Gascony by the French wine guide Bettane+Desseauve.
