Crémant de Bourgogne

Crémant de Bourgogne
Château Fuissé is best known for its Pouilly-Fuissé – but its Crémant de Bourgogne demonstrates what the limestone and clay soils of the Mâconnais region can achieve in sparkling wine. Chardonnay from vineyards cultivated by the estate since 1862 forms the basis – the soils impart the wine with its characteristic minerality.
Fine, persistent bubbles in the glass. On the nose, green apple, citrus zest, and a hint of brioche, along with a cool, mineral freshness. Dry on the palate, with lively acidity and a clean finish – taut and straightforward, truly Burgundian.
Serving temperature 7–9 °C. As an aperitif, with oysters, goat cheese or light fish dishes with butter sauce.
