Château Minuty Cuvée Prestige Blanc

A white wine from Provence that combines freshness and fullness: The Château Minuty Cuvée Prestige Blanc represents the white wine line of one of the most famous estates in the Côtes de Provence.

Château Minuty is located near Gassin on the Saint-Tropez peninsula and has been managed by the Farnet family for decades. The vines grow near the sea on barren, sandy-schist soils, and the climate provides plenty of sun and cooling breezes. White wines from the region often rely on Rolle (Vermentino), which provides freshness and spice. We do not have the exact cuvée composition and vinification details available, so we will stick to what the origin suggests.

Typical of this style are citrus fruits, white flowers, and stone fruit, accompanied by a Mediterranean herbal note and a salty-fresh pull on the finish. Serve it at 8 to 10 °C, for example with grilled sea bream, bouillabaisse, fresh goat cheese, or a vegetable gratin with herbs de Provence. It also makes a great impression as an aperitif on the terrace.

The Château

Château Minuty

The French winery Château Minuty was founded in 1936 and is located in the Provence region. It is 15 minutes away from the town of St. Tropez and offers an impressive view over the entire bay. The owners of the company are François and Jean Etienne Matton.

Viticulture is carried out on a total of 70 hectares of vineyards without the use of pesticides or herbicides, which is only possible because the vineyards are surrounded by a wooded area. On the soils, which consist mainly of limestone, grape varieties such as Mourvèdre, Grenache, Cinsault, Tibouren, Semillon, Rolle, or Ugni are grown, among others.
