Château Minuty Cuvée Prestige Rosé
The Cuvée Prestige Rosé from Château Minuty is the flagship of Provence — a rosé that shows what old vines and consistent craftsmanship can get out of Grenache and Tibouren.
Château Minuty is located on the Saint-Tropez peninsula, in the heart of the Côtes de Provence appellation. The family winery has been one of the region's most well-known addresses for decades and has contributed significantly to establishing the international reputation of Provence rosés. The Cuvée Prestige is based on old Grenache and Tibouren vines — Tibouren is a grape variety native almost exclusively to Provence, which gives the wine its characteristic structure and spice.
In the glass, the wine shines in a very light, brilliant salmon pink. The nose shows a fresh, floral bouquet with aromas of white peach, citrus grapefruit, and a hint of rose blossom. On the palate, juicy freshness combines with distinct fullness — the acidity structure is lively without being sharp, the finish long and slightly mineral.

Fresh and surprisingly multi-layered: white peach and citrus grapefruit in the nose, plus a hint of rose blossom. Juicy on the palate and with real fullness, the acidity lively, the finish long and slightly mineral — not a light summer wine, but a rosé with attitude.
What is Tibouren — and why is the grape variety on the label?
Tibouren is a grape variety grown almost exclusively in Provence that gives the wine its characteristic spice and structure. Together with Grenache from old vines, it makes the Cuvée Prestige more than a classic Provence rosé.
What does the Minuty Cuvée Prestige pair best with?
Grilled sea bream, bouillabaisse, or burrata with cherry tomatoes are classic companions. It also goes well with light goat cheese or as an aperitif — the fullness carries it through the whole evening.
At what temperature should I serve the wine?
Best at 8–10 °C — i.e., well chilled, but not ice cold. Served too cold, it loses its aromatic depth; at 12 °C and warmer, it quickly appears flat.
Is the rosé dry or does it have residual sweetness?
It is vinified dry. The perceived fruitiness comes from the peach and grapefruit aroma, not from residual sugar — on the palate, it remains clear and fresh without a sweet finish.
How should I store the wine?
Cool, dark, and lying down — ideal storage conditions are 10–14 °C, away from light and vibrations. Provence rosés of this type are designed for freshness; after opening, store in the refrigerator and drink within two days.
The Château
The French winery Château Minuty was founded in 1936 and is located in the Provence region. It is 15 minutes away from the town of St. Tropez and offers an impressive view over the entire bay. The owners of the company are François and Jean Etienne Matton.
Viticulture is carried out on a total of 70 hectares of vineyards without the use of pesticides or herbicides, which is only possible because the vineyards are surrounded by a wooded area. On the soils, which consist mainly of limestone, grape varieties such as Mourvèdre, Grenache, Cinsault, Tibouren, Semillon, Rolle, or Ugni are grown, among others.
